In the event of disaster

We can not predict when a disaster will strike,
but we can know what to do when it does…

Here are some simple tips to help you respond rapidly and appropriately in case of disaster.

Immediate post-disaster work
Understand that the sooner you act, the less time there is for the damage to worsen or for new damage to occur. So you need to contact your insurer as soon as possible so that they can assign a recognized post-disaster professional from your area to carry out emergency work and offer additional post-disaster services.

Plan for the worst
As a precaution, make an inventory of your belongings and furniture now and keep it in a safe place. You can make the inventory more useful by including photos and videos. You should also keep your bills and warranties as concrete evidence of the value of your property. These preparations will help speed up the processing of your insurance claim in the event of a disaster.
